Shadowlands- an allegory

"For Aslan! And for Narnia!"
The charge came and the battle begins
The fight for those set in stone
The signal to war sounded

"Further up! And further in!"
The search is-
The journey will always be
When all hope seems lost

"He's not a tame lion, but He's good."
Aye, that be true, loves
That be the truth
He is never safe, but all His ways are perfect

Prince Caspian and Edmund, Susan and High King Peter
Fight, stand their ground- what are they?
Their odds- outnumbered 10:1
Where's Lucy?

On horseback; can't you see her?
Chasing after the "invisible" Aslan through the woods
As only she can see Him
Pursuing the one who captivated her

"I'm sorry I didn't listen to you earlier, could all of these have been avoided if I had just followed you?"
His answer "We will never know what could have been. We only have now."
Lucy cries "But the others....!"
"Would it have mattered if you followed me first child?"

No, of course not. Cause they would have seen His work in the end
As they do now- crossing that bridge
A little girl and a lion- what could possibly bring their enemy down?
But that's all that is needed really...

A little girl and the Lion of Judah.

"Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these" -Matthew 19:14
