4.15pm-arrived at Sugi's house to try and set up Mel's presents, realised that there was no way to hide them..so we decided on presenting them to her beforehand.

5-ishpm- lol..forgot time, we went down to set up the decor and food..nat joined us at around this time..managed to pipe in the music through the overall clubhouse system. haha..danced "foolish" in heels..haha

5.30pm- rushed back upstairs to get changed..mayhem ensues.. lol..glitter everywhere and daphne came in at this point of time to all the mess and noise that was Sugi's room..Mel was emptying the tube of silver glitter on herself and I was spraying her with glitter..hahaha..she was supposed to be Ice Girl from Skyhigh and therefore we were "frosting" her..hahaha..I'm handy with a can full of glitter ok?? just ask mel and sugi..hahaha..Jie Melissa then proceeded to correct the wayang look I had on before and I got dusted with the shiny stuff too..hahaha..Then..Nat got changed into this cute pirate outfit and Jie Melissa WAS Magenta from SkyHIgh..you should've been there..hmm..Mel's costume was very very cool (literally) and she drew a lot of glances from random ppl walking past her..hahaha.. Sugi got changed into his Zack Attack outfit (yes, also from sky high..you know the movie?? yes, yes..the same posse) lol..

6.30pm- left the pixie-dusted room and charged downstairs cause we heard Sarina, Steph and Kenneth were already there..so we came down and hung around waiting for ppl to come..Manav came in as a sheikh..then feline came in as nurse with angel wings..(from Valiant?) Mich came in as a scientist and Jeri came as a playboy bunny. (refer to pic below..lol)

Majority of the peeps arrived at 7-8...hahaha..erm..listing..Malik came as Manav's servant? hahaha..Wai Leong as a surgeon (complete with blood) Daphne was a character from "Rome", Lix came as Miss Tassie, Debbie as *vavavoom* Catwoman! Oh my, oh my...you should've seen her!! Steph was the she mask..very cool, 3 outfit changes..won best effort (obviously) Sarina (my mei mei) came as a cat burgular..hmm...like a really sexy female Zorro..hahaha..Kenneth turned up in Army Fatigues.. Kathi came as Cleopatra, Queen of the Nile..Kristi turned up as an Arabian Princess, Tim (big one) turned up as a cowboy..Hugh and Jesh!!! ahhh...they came as Aladdin and Jasmine..now that was cool!! hmm...let me see..Chris apparently was a pimp..erm...Alex was an SM boy?? lol..din get it..Kai came in a Johnny Walker hat and carried a golf club..diao...Drish was a hip-hop mogul? hahaha..oh...and then..there's the dude who managed to get into my cousin's blog..Iain came as Gambit..not bad, not bad..but you should've done it much earlier..considering you left your fire paper and present at home..-_-"

8.30-9.30pm- played games...like funny bone and we voted..didn't manage to play truth or dare though...sad..got chased out after this..MAJOR busy time after this..cleaned up function room..ta pao-ed stuff..then relaxed and lazed around by the pool for a while...talked, sang..took photos..watched Lix get pushed into the pool..evil ppl!! Left to clean up sugi's room and all..chatted..prayed and went home.

Hey I'm back!!! I'm so happy...I'm..."walking on sunshine" hahaha...literally.. *jumps up and down* erm..been having two days of orientation camp training..running through schedules..t-shirt designs..logistics..budgets..and dances..

CAMP ORGANISING COMMITTEE- I LOVE YOU!! hahaha...that's cause you guys did a fantastic job at learning all the dance moves in like 3 hours..I'm so proud of you. We have 3 more dances to go though..but you guys are terrific..

SAT training begins tml..and I'm looking forward to more days like that...but I want to go shopping!! sighs..and do all the fun stuff like costume-searching [for you know what] and actually transforming myself..like weight, height, clothes, hair...sighs...a few more days and I get the holidays to do whatever I wanna do..

All That I Want-Planet Shakers

Hey everyone!!! I'm baacccckkkk!!! And I'm high again too! ^_^ A lot of things happened since I last posted..Like a whole lot...but first...Yessie!! Why are you leaving? lol..hmm..Jon need Revelation Force meeting..:D Am posting again after a whole week of exams..sighs..results are out...I have a few spurts of brilliance and mediocre or lower results..sighs..Geography got me an A, GP and CLB got me a B, Lit got me a C...(sighs, sighs, sighs) and Bio...hmm..I got an E..sighs..I didn't do too well for my paper two and I just passed my practical paper...

Summary of my life so far:
Had a week of break before the entire week of exams..On Monday of that particular week, Penny dragged me off to get my eyebrows threaded...thank you loads for all you've done for me..thanks..forever grateful! (Thanks for the compliments ppl..it boosted my self-esteem) Tuesday had lessons and stuff-went to Sakae Sushi to stare at people competing..haha..fun stuff..Wednesday was a day of studies and I think you ppl (Jon and Yen Hao) crahsed my house...but you know I'm always happy to see you...and the chocolate..hahaha.. T-squared!! ^_^ Thursday was a kind of great day..I had chinese lessons in the afternoon and a good 2 hour chat with Penny (love you very much...yes..I pray for you always) and then headed off to Mel's house to study Lit..^_^ Disturbed Sugi so that he couldn't sleep and watched Iain as he lay dead to the world..lol...then at around 5-ish..Mel's dad pulled one when he said that we (me, iain and sugi) were invited to her parents' 25th Anniversary Party. So Melissa scrounged around in her closet for something for me to wear and all..then we took nice pictures together..[mels looked very good] (refer to picture above) and had a good time of eating (chilli crabs!!!) and playing the guitar, etc..hahaha...the simple ceremony in the garden was also so romantic...*Aunty Kooi Lian and Uncle Peck Lim-Happy 25th Year Together!!! God Bless you both* then we went home and I studied somemore..hmm...had fun chatting with mels and sugi afterwards..lol..Friday passed by in a blur as I was studying somemore..^_^ I know, I know, so guai..yeah..

Last week:
Oh gosh..exam week...my nerves were absolutely horrible at this particular exam..sorry mummy and daddy for the wrong confessions..sighs...anyway..I spent Wednesday and Thursday studying at Mel's house for Lit and we (sugi, iain and I) had an after-exam day in at her house on friday..Paddy is soo used to seeing me now that he stops barking when he sees me at the door..hehe..hmm...I arrived at her house..naturally!!! haha..and we watched naked weapon (the chinese one) abour assasins-arrrgggghhh...so sad...I hate bitter sweet endings and all that violence that separates good friends..sighs..haha.oh well...managed a 10 minute nap on the floor..*sighs...Paddy..* well..we changed at around 6.15pm for Aunty Kooi Lian's birthday and went down to the Thai restaurant for dinner...tom yam chicken soup, olive rice, fish cake, pineapple rice..etc..^_^ spent time talking after that with mel, iain and sugi..sleepy..:D had fun on tt day!! Love you guys loads..Church on saturday.

This week:
Return of the results week...hmm..monday I got back my lit, bio and gp papers..today I got back my geog paper..sighs...completion tomorrow..hmmm...sleepy...was high during choir yesterday, mel had a hangover from too much coffee yesterday and I got high on air...^_^ was watching davy crockett last night..haha..tonight need to discuss bio with Daphne!! ^_^ and sighs...all that jazz...hah...Manav and Chris' party at Ardmore Park on the 8th October (and the day after is Daph's b-dae [but esther can bring pressie on 8th 2!] *daphne types*) hmmm...I'm on lockdown till after exams..need to try and ask parents..AS exams start on the 18th October...not me..but the maths ppl..oh well..science pracs are on the 13th...council meeting in a while...will tell you how tt turns out..blog soon!!! *mwah* ^_^ God Bless!

HELLO WORLD!!! WATCH ME BEING HAPPY!!! hmm..had a good week...

Wednesday passed by quickly..had chinese/bio and geog..did a timed assignment in class-feels like a major achievement!! PJ Thum spoke to us on his channel swim..great to see the guy again..lol...took my commendation cert from him..then we had chapel prac till like 5.45pm (missed going back to ghim moh..heard it was good) and then me and mels went to get changed...we called a cab while the guys changed- and proceeded to arrive late at scgs..had a great time there...soaking in atmosphere and culture..and esther line-danced..=_=" have you seen Esther crashing into 5 different strangers all at a go?? hahaha...well..too bad..but I'm telling you anyway...haha..had a very good time..and then came home to the last 30 mins of CSI...slept..

Thurs:
woke up late... :D studied geog and bio...practiced for chapel on my guitar...was not able to sleep 4am

Friday:
woke up at 7 and went to school for chapel...whoo!!! jumped loads...got my endorphin high and mels handed out choc chip cookies...added to my high again...oh..oh..oh...had David Sanborn come perform...his voice was...*watch me drool*...actually...watch Rae Hot melt..hahaha..then we had a time to prepare for E-ZONE games.. Mel and I did decorations...we then proceeded to visit the haunted house..where I did an impromptu thing with my much-hairspray fortified hair and was a scream-literally...lol..so yeah..got roped in..after tt...we had this water bomb fight..haha..and then walked out and home..took a looooooonnnnggg shower..(stupid hair spray) Talked on the phone for a while..and finally slept.

Saturday:
Woke up like really early..went straight to school and haunted house..haha...kong lam was being squeezed into a dress..lol.. then we did make-up and went for reporting time at tutorial..miss loh was very funny..then we climbed back up for last touches..THANK YOU KENNETH AND LUIGI FOR COMING!!! (happy now?) miss loh and mrs mok went through the haunted house set up and had a screaming good time for trials..hmmm...then went on duty for a while and had fun scaring ppl..change of duties came very soon and we (kong lam, penny, sugi, mels and I) went to ezone counter...my family arrived soon after..PETER YOU ARE SOO CUTE AND I LOVE YOU!! ^_^ and we (mels, sugi and I) had lunch there...saw alex and mr yim fighting it out on gladiator..hmmm..the went back on duty in the haunted house *refer to pic*..chris as the butler was very very scary and effective..hahaha...Penny played the doll in the doll house...oo creepy..Jerilyn as "the maid"/traditional chinese bride was sooo cool..and sweta and georgina were soooo scary...mels as the traditional chinese bride/doll/ at the pond..she was also very good-elicted screams of terror..kong lam and iain at the chinese funeral site were also darn good..James, Nat and Drish under the dining room table were fantastic and the remainder of the cast and crew were absolutely awesome...thanks for the experience of a lifetime..washed up and went to church after tt...had a good time...was very strengtened by Art Sanborn's testimony and had a good time during worship...lol...was very tired after tt...came home..chatteed awhile..and slept...

Dear Counsellor,
It's been a while...many of us in school are feeling the heat turned on for prelims...I took my bio prac today..sighs...hoping with all my heart for all the best..oh well...many things happened last week...like the fact that I went for spook show..lol..and got spooked...then we (lyd and I) left for church and had an awesome time..colonel png preached and we had a time of praying for unsaved loved ones..anyway...update for two days..

Monday:
Came back to school...did lit presentation..had bio lessons....routine day..

Tuesday:
Had bio prac...ahhhh ahhh...then lit..Pizza party in L.O.L...we used it as "fishing grounds" ...if ya know what I mean...then had free period, where I learnt how to play "Who Am I" with Mark...[quick learner?? hee..] and then had gp..and then council..sighs..yeah...so tml's teachers' day...hope it goes fine..erm..walked home..did up lit..and blogging for a while cause my blog looks dead..

Yeah Yessie!!! Hols...but I havta study for prelims too k?? we gotta do it in a day..sighs...a day..lol..^_^ okok..will post again soon...Love to all..

Sunday:
After sleeping really late..haha..the rest were at penny's party..I woke up really early to go to Singapore Indoor Stadium for City Harvest's 16th Anniversary (visitor) queued and queued...joined penny and kong lam's cell inside and had a great time of praise and worship[seating order: me, sugi, mels, kai, penny, tim, terence, kong lam and iain]...jumped lots and sang lots.."Jesus, I give you my heart, never will we be apart, move in me, change my life, Jesus I give you all" oh...then we spotted Sean dancing to extraodinary..whoo!! had such a good time singing and praising God...then at the end, we all left and went to grab cabs back to holland village..got lamed all the way back in the cab by Lydia and Sugi..-_-" sighs..then we had sushi teh for lunch and went to school to blow up balloons and tie up the banner..we had so much fun...but cheeks were sore..hahahah..then we had dinner and went home..talked a while..slept..

Monday:
Came like really early to school...changed and prepared for choir performance..rushed around a bit and then performed and sat with classmates to laugh out the remainder of the day...burst all the balloons after that in clearing up..hahaha...ate durian mousse..oh and CRUNCHIE!!! hahaha...became high after tt..^_^ ate lunch at nydc with mels family then we went back to sim lim to get mel's com and we [hugh, iain. mel, sugi and me] bought headphones..lol...to talk on skype..then we went over to mel's house to hang for a while..and then came back...talked on skype later tt night..hahaha...laughed lots and slept..

Tuesday:
Did homework, studied for bio...and left for Furama..ate dinner with parents and then came home to watch the last few minutes of National Day Parade...and then watched CSI with family..talked more on skype..^_^

Wednesday:
HOLIDAY!!! erm...slept in late..woke up to read up on lit texts..spent time in worship..oh...and YEN HAO AND JON CRASHED MY HOUSE!! thanks hor...messed up my bio studying time...lolx..had fun with them larh...they brought along chocolate, chips and apple tea..so yeah...laughed and laughed...showed them pics..teased yessie online..haha...walked them out..went to buy toothpaste from Jelita Cold Storage and then..came back to study..

Thursday:
Back to school..had geog in the morning..homework!!! Had GP after tt...laughed like crazy in class..SOME ppl dunno how to ease other ppl's embarrassments...oh..homework due monday!! hmm..had a free period..well sorta..forced open a door [haha] and watched ppl get wet..poor cara..then I had bio..prayed beforehand with penny, kong lam and daphne..had free period...laughed and ate chocolate..bad idea..became high again..hahaha...then we went for deportment classes...everything that Kong Lam has done so far is all correct!! no one is allowed to tease her anymore!! haha..watched ppl play the piano and badminton for a while..met my couz at holland village where I experienced a bit of what life was like in Barker Road (from Iain and Ivan's points of view) laughed more...and came home to do Bio homework with Daphne on the phone..slept..

Friday:
woke up normal time...we weren't doing chapel this week...had chinese lessons..homework!!! met up with annabel and joan with Hugh in LOL...they introduced the band and we discussed the lineups for the coming weeks..Had lit lessons...laughed and laughed and laughed...greek mythology and the glass menagerie...omg...noooo!! hahaha..homework!! then had prefect meeting during lunch where we got our badges..
PE!!!! hahahaha...many, many things to say about this..handball again and the abuse incidence went up..but it was soooo funny...so many accidents happened during the game..but more ppl played this time and we had a score of 19-14..hahaha...I felt like puking after tt...the ball hitting my stomach many times did some serious messing up of my appetite after tt...oh well..another way to lose weight..hahaha..went home after meeting up with joan to establish stuff about chapel, I went home to prep for mama's birthday dinner..had fun at pinetree club with cousins and the food..haha...came home..changed and skyped a while..read bio..and slept..

Saturday:
Slept..went to money changers' to run dad's errand and came home to skype...laughed lots...ate lunch...did gp..skyped somemore..read geog..blogged and now going to prep for church..kk...blog again soon!!

Monday- Wednesday
Practice and rehearsals for national day celebrations.

Thursday:
Stayed back after school to paint banner..haha..laughs a minute larh..It turned out quite well...iain, me, mels, sugi and penny stayed back to spray the floor with pressurised water from the hose..and some ppl got thinner on them and it hurt like crazy [I am told] sat around and laughed at some stoopid stuff and watched the presentation that mels did about her granddad..pen and mels danced shackles and the chinese fan dance..walked out to swensens for dinner afterwards and laughed...bumped into woo jae who asked me to "grab his hands" and he'll see "his counterparts in a short while"..hahaha...dude..you rock!!

Friday:
Chapel- Iain led "Better Than", I did "Here I Am To Worship" and Kong Lam did "Magnificent"..we were looking forward to doing "King of Majesty" but chapel took longer than usual..the Lijiang trip ppl shared their testimony and powerpoint..they were like crying on stage and some of them tanked it..sitting behind the curtains, I couldn't tahan and started crying too...but it was a very very touching experience..kathi and kristi were very genuine..and I'm sooooo proud of sugi..he prayed in public and for ppl's salvation too..^_^ me and mels were like..waahh..

Lessons- PE...omg...round 2...this time the guys bore the brunt of the beating..still got banged up pretty badly though..but laughed a whole lot more..tai tai could catch the ball!! hahaha...but she was a very good defending partner..lol..

Rehearsal- NDC rehearsal..found out the press ain't coming..still practiced real hard though..ended real late and left for home and shower..

Festival of Praise- WHOOOHOOO!!! jumped my heart out even though I was dead tired..the music and sermon was good..met up with sean, evan, feline and esther lee..saw pen and chris in the audience..knew kl was there..then dad came and fetched us..

Others-came home and discussed the little book for iain with hugh, sugi and mels..slept

Saturday- overslept..almost arrived at Great World late..saw Charlie and the chocolate factory in the GV Gold class theatre..they gave my nachos to Daphne!! sighs..wateva larh..then went to sim lim..my adapter cost me $150!!! aaaahhhh!!! sighs..bummed around in funan with sugi, mels and hugh..ate chicken rice..talked rubbish..hmm..hunted down sugi's printer..then we all parted..mels and me talked on the phone while in cabs..haha..napped..oh!!! THANK YOU UNCLE PECK LIM AND AUNTY LIAN!! (for the gift)

Church-ROCKED!!! was soooo funny and happy..sang back up..laughed lots..hmmm..was a good night...

came home, chatted a bit with nat and kong lam...blogging..am sleeping soon..need to call pen for a bit though..hehe...gdnite all!!

Hey all!! Updating you on sunday about three different happy days!!

Friday:
Chapel-woohoo!! It rocked!! The lineup was Hugh on drums, shun on electric guitar, georgina on bass, Kenneth on grand piano..Chris, Iain, Sean, Kong Lam, Penny, Mels and me on mikes..^_^ we did "My Redeemer Lives" [mels led] and had a great time clapping...there was soooo much joy that day...Hugh's drum solo rocked.."Shout to the Lord" [Kong Lam] shun's intro sounded so good.."Through it all" [me] and "ONE WAY!!!" [sean] hahaha...tt one rocked our hearts out..we had so much fun on stage and with all that jumping..lolx..

then we had like lessons..lao shi was so nice to give us an extension for the essay..hmm..had lit...another essay..bleah..oh and me and mels knocked out for a good solid 5 minutes in class and when the door slammed behind Mr Goh, I got jolted awake..hahah..weird...yes, yes..then we had like break..oo!!! I found the perfect pillows!!! in the cf room..they're the right size, colour and squishiness..lol..sighs...love tt happy place..

hmm.. we then did pe in the gym for like 20 minutes learning the national day dance..and then..AAAAAHHHHHH!!! another traumatic moment in ACS International... handball in the hall..cuts, bruises and all..haha...

hung with mels and mel (haha) at their place...spent time talking and eating fruits and ikan bilis..then went home for dinner and talked on the phone with hugh, mels and sugi...lol...fell into alpha sleep for like 5 minutes during the convo..i know tt cause I could hear everything they were talking about and was dreaming about lit essay points...lol...yes, yes..I am a weird person..haha..*sleeps soon after*


Saturday:
Mels called me at 12 while at Bugis waiting for hugh..did lit essay points..(from the night before..haha) some went on an escapade to hugh's house and some ppl had sheesha and what not..I had fun [yeah right] doing homework..hmm..went for women's fellowship at church at 6pm..ok larh..had church...mels called me sfter tt and we chatted for a while..laughed at squirming ppl..hmm..slept like late..

Sunday:
woke at 11.15am..hahaha..hmmm tried to call sugi..phone accnt overdue..then he called me while I was trying to figure out what to do..and we talked a bit of nonsense...[as usual..majority of it not from me..hehe]

hmm..changed and charged out the door..took the cab to Wai Leong's place and arrived at the exact same time as mels..lolx..she looked so chio and grown up..^_^ watched the security guard go.."oooo" haha...hmm..lifted to the 24th floor and stepped through the door..and got a nauseous feeling..forgot to plead the blood of Jesus over me..got oppression..lolx..walked around and did so...and then had breaded pudding while mels had tiramisu [wl can cook!!! very well!!] ..^_^ keropok..hmm..water..then sugi came and we all watched a bit of tennis..I TRIED to do sound effects...but not as good larh..

haha..pen and chris arrived and we went to discuss the dish over sushi, grapes and wine..-.-' hah..and then..hmm..iain came and we finalised details..then we all curled up somewhere on the sofa and watched "cat in the hat"...omg...it was sooo brainless...I could feel my brain cells turning into goo..and missed rugby on another channel while at it!! Anyway...said my thoughts on the gooey brain cells out and chris said "Now you know what sugi feels like most of the time..now you can counsel him.." hahaha...

hmm..we all left after tt and walked to heeren..ooo!!! there's this little dude called ethan ong 6 years old who was playing on the drums to "King of Majesty" woohoo!!! he's soo cute and good and was playing to christian music!! hahaha..hmm..went to heeren and talked with mels for quite some time..venting..heh..walked around upstairs when melissa, lisa and another couz steph came...found a good bargain $3.00!!! haha..erm..bought pen's present..bought iain's present..hmm..X:odus having a sale!! wanted to buy the $10 shoes..but no more funds..oo!!! found cute pink pumps and they fit...too closely..a bit tight..awwww...then went to billy bombers..had "suicidal wings" [they were soooo mild..too mild..] hmm..mixed grill and vanilla shake..lisa was bohemian today..^_^ so pretty tt gal..hmm..THANK YOU MELISSA!!! (well and uncle peck lim for lunch) lol..hmm..they walked me to marriot for a cab and I got home for dinner..just had veggies..

Hey ya'll!!! back in the mood to write again..well..loads of things happened..my soap got sorted out (thanks for praying) Alex's birthday was on Wednesday..Happy Birthday!!! (hope you like your gift-you'll get it tonight...and no way am I going to change it too..so like it!!! hahaha) erm..Kai's birthday is today...Happy Birthday!!! (well...sorta...unless you're mopey..hahaha) We did chapel yesterday...was kinda cool..one way first time (you know..like 4???) was a bit confused..and the mike could not pick up Iain's low notes..so he kept on fading out..haha..next week we'll be doing chapel again..so much fun...remind me to pray beforehand k? hmmm...attended meetings and did homework this week..prelims are in 6 weeks..As are like coming soon...sighs..oh well..everything for the glory of God!! hmmmm...personally..?? haha..spent time laughing and laughing with frens..whacked a few blood vessels with volleyball..hmm...will update some more stuff again soon..love!!

Wahaha...happy...^_^ erm..let's see...today started off with GEOG test!! (not counted-thank God!!) haha..and I have new vietnamese classmates..erm..okok..then I had Lit, laughed with and at Mr Goh, had CF during lunch and then had a nice nap with Mels in the project room in the library...woke up to nice pnw music and was happy throughout GP...lol...then there was council meeting and badminton matches..me and mich lost the first one but won the second match, whereas min rong and cherie won all theirs..erm...oh!! Came home and opened the gifts..SARINA!!! I LOOOOOVVVVEEEE YOUR GIFT!!! Overwhelmed

yay!!! hello world!!! Burfdae was yesterday!!! Met mels, pen and daph at King Albert Park where penny gave me a love bug and a very touching poem (until the part where it mentions you know what...haha) daph gave me feather earrings and a nice pair of blue ones..then we left to raid daph's closet..haha...fun stuff...then we took the bus to town for shoe shopping (pen and daph bought shoes and this was where sugi lived up to his metrosexuality) he gave me the diana degarmo CD..ate at Suki Ramen..Love you penny!! *muackz*...haha..then we all went to shop at espirit for daph..haha...then I had to leave halfway though the interesting soap opera *wink wink and clears throat repeatedly...dun kill me* ..haha..came home in time to leave for church..and had a very good time...enjoyed worship and the message and God gave me the best gift I could ever receive from him on my birthday..he visited me through Holy laughter and cleaned up another part of my past..hmm... ^_^ "I'M FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" whoo!!!! lolx.. erm...came home and talked with my two favourite ppl...(kai is extra...haha..) and then, my parents gave me the last present of the day... a creative MP3-cum-radio-cum-voice recorder... so now I can listen to music everywhere!! haha...now I feel happy...very very happy.. God has really blessed me this year.. I felt complete even before my burfdae.. now I feel overwhelmed with God's blessings!!! He lives indeed..HALLELUJAH!! hehe... Hey!! Back to school!!! went for choir yesterday and had a nice jog for PE...and watched soap operas develop in my school life...haha...not very happy as the soap operas have hidden twists and turns...a bit difficult to fully enjoy if your friends are the main cast and crew right? Mr Goh wants me to write an article for him...tts provided I have the time to do so..well..list of stuff to do:

The Happy Song

The title of my post was going to be great expectations due to unexpected circumstances, but then I'm officially happy now.. ^_^ The cause of my happiness: Mels, Pen, Sugi came home!!! hahaha... well...now to document the chronicles of great expectations..

Once upon a time, a group of people who expected the level of singapore's hotels to be of reasonable standard, stumbled upon-horror of horrors one that didn't match the image in their minds..due to the fact that the ppl there were advertising it as a "resort"..
1) the carpet leading up to toilet was mouldy
2) dead moths and beetles on the carpet
3) the buffet "spread" was two main dishes -_-"
4) the curtain-blinds had fallen and were not replaced
5) two staff looked after the concierge
6) you had to pull your luggage to your room (3rd floor)
7) there was one lift that sounded like a generator was dying each time someone used it and it was outside my room
8) the air conditioning was on at 17 degrees celsius but the room felt like a sauna
9) no cable!!!! no internet!!!! [sighs]
10) the door: a) was soooo thin you could hear EVERYTHING outside b) had a lock that was half-ripped off from the wall c) had a door lock that was jammed all the time

So...the people from singapore had an interesting experience in an island resort that looked dilapidated and old and run down.. (felt that it was xing teng[heartache]..sighs) and the musical fountain was a wasted opportunity..the sound system was so horrid..sighs..

But, when everyone came home (meaning mels, penny, sugi, kathi, kristi, nic, marcus, debbie, yaan neng and esther lee) it made things all better!!! ^_^ love!!! will write soon.

Worthy Is the Lamb/ With All I Am

Hey!!! My parents are back!! And Kai is back!! (I feel like knocking you) And it's a few more days before my sisters are home!! hahaha..feeling better and everything..but now trying to pull off something that is top secret-will update on that ASAP...I'll be going to a glamorous vacation destination tomorrow..sentosa..sighs..well..at least I'll go do something with myself instead of mopeing around..haha..Girls' Brigade 20th Coy dinner is coming up on the 9th July..oh..and we have yet to plan the foreign students induction programme..Like the songs I put up?? Hey! Talked to Yessita in the morning/afternoon, received messages from Kai in Melbourne, heard Lix fainted during maths..sighs.. poor dear.. been praying for Sarina.. haha...watched "The Phantom of The Opera" until like 3.30am last nite..haha..and so was very blur for a while this morning..went jogging and kept on hearing alex in my head...("Come on Esther!!"...) received phone calls from Miss Ling and my dad, erm...watched "Little Mermaid 2" (yes, there is a two) and blogged...oh yah...did homework too...hey..first priority huh? haha..heard from Jon C and yen hao sent me irritating messages..^_^ haha..wateva ok? listened to music and found out that Clay Aiken and Kimberly Locke sang in DisneyMANIA 3..yay!! lolx..want to watch "Batman Begins" !! mugging is on my list...write soon!! ciao!

Ai Wo Bie Zhou

Sighs..double blow..my parents left for another church camp (4 days) and mels,sugi and penny left for china (8 days)..withdrawal symptoms..I know alex can cope..but then..I direct a lot of love to frens and family..sistas and brothers..^_^ so yeah...was feeling down...chatted with alex and sarina..her testimonial was soo timely..just at the time I was at the lowest..actually cried after penny called and parents left..sighs..went to visit mels yesterday and to see how her family was..her grandfather started a bold legacy..he's an inspiration to me..oh..had choir yesterday and saw the new music room!!! (cheerfully reminded of good things in life) haha...it has a mini stage and carpets and sound-proofed walls..haha..someplace new to go in the school!!! ^_^ oh...just chatted to lix...she's safely back in tasmania and getting busy..sighs..need to run and swim...lose the flab..haha..been talking to nat about crashing her house..lolx..yeah..and the homework too..read Tennesse William's "The Glass Menagerie" and started on bio..talked to Kenneth (T) about old days and new..and watched my sister and Jolene (H) make pasta and watch "How to lose a guy in ten days" haha..will write again soon..oh and kai messaged me from melbourne..haha..ciao!!

Angels brought me here..

Well, today started off sadly..Mels called for prayer for her grandad and in the short while that I was praying I just heard God say "It's Time!" and I was like..not sure and prayed somemore..but then the Holy Spirit just kept on repeating the words "It's time, It's time, It's time" so when Mels called I knew her grandfather went home. Haiz...spent the rest of the day watching CSI and talking to Mels and Kai..and Penny via sms...and watched somemore of Russell Peters' videos...he's very funny but quite vulgar..erm...packed my table..did up mum's powerpoint presentation..sms-ed kai and Mels...laughed a while longer..not allowed to go to Sarina's pot luck..erm...blogged..haha..reflections.. Mels, Penny and Sugi (and yes OZY..but I'm talking about my sisters-okok..and brother) went for the china prep camp and came back much rejuvenated...so GOOD!!! and I conferenced with mels and sugi every night at their camp...laughed at rubbish and gorillas...and...yeah...haha..went marche, met up with Lisa, Carol and Melissa and had fun!!! ^_^ I love life!!! Oh...yes...and got shocked speechless at Sugi's secret yesterday evening..wateva..okok...Kai and Lix have gone to Melbourne..on diff flights haha..and I think there's Choir tml..so..yeah...will catch up again soon..God Bless.

Friday: Went for lix's lawn party...Penny looked absolutely beautiful, Daphne looked decent and pretty and Mels looked soo sexy...^_^ Well, Lix liked the gift and got herself caked..and I had fun with Mels and Penny making Daphne up..so..yeah

Yeah!!! I din fail bio!! That was a main concern...but I din do that well either..just passed exactly. Sighs..went for Bio class today and got another re-program..Miss Loh said that we have to achieve a "B" for As even to have a fighting chance to enter university. Stayed back a while to chat with Kai, Pen, Sugi and Daphne..Penny was sooo flirting with moi..hahaha..and I got cued into an evil scheme that Kai is thinking of..bad bad boy..walked out once their class started and bumped into Hughlyn walking in..Took the bus back and cleaned up the house, did the laundry, scolded the dog..haha..and now blogging..talked with Grandma for a while too and am waiting for a) my sister to come home b) my parents to come home..am sooo excited about Lix's party tml nite!!! I'm ALLOWED to go!! yeehah!!

Kiss of Heaven

Hi again!! I found out that I like blogging!! haha.. today was fun!!

It started off as a hectic morning..my dad called me and asked me for the slide of song lyrics...turned out he was searching for the wrong song title.Then casually checked my smses after his phone call and found that Daphne sent me one in the morning telling me that physics class started at 9 instead of 11 like we thought. Which brought to my mind that the fact that we (mels and I) had arranged to have lunch at 1pm (which is when we thought the class would end) so...I had to emergency-call Mels up and tell her that we had to rush off..but, 5 minutes before that, I was on the phone with Kenneth about O level english paper results, and so I had to juggle between phones. Then, as I was trying to figure out how to get to school in ten minutes (as Kai said that that was when Sugi's extra class would finish...) Mels called and asked me if I needed a ride..THANK GOD!! :D

Then we stopped off and went to Cold Storage-where while in search of 3-in-1 coffee, we bumped into Kai and Sugi..haha..very surprised. And then I became very happy when I realised I was wearing my Disneyland tee. ^-^ After leaving cold storage, we proceeded to stand around Holland V shopping centre deciding what to do with our lives..haha..Mel and I had the I-just-woke-up-dun-feel-like-eating syndrome for a while, so we walked around for a while and the guys decided to walk into SASA in search of a present for Lix..we scrapped make-up off the list and concentrated soon after on playing with perfume..haha.."Lacoste-Touch of Pink", "Britney Spears" , "Anna Sui" and etc..I quote Kai "you mean she's a walking fruit salad?" haha..then we decided to walk over to SPIZZA for lunch, but a beautiful Steph Ann opened the NYDC door and that's where I ended up eating "Three Amigos". We were served by a waitress named Lydia and Sugi said (to Mels) " you're mean" (and then to me) "but she's evil" muahaha..sounds like me huh? We joined Alex, Kenneth (a different one) and Mich in addition to Steph.

After much laughter and being tormented by Alex eating a very rich-looking chocolate ice-cream cake, we decided to leave. (Both Kai and Sugi were stoning) Mel: "Sugi why are you stoning?" Kai: " Hey Sugi! You stole my emotions!" We (now in addition with Hughlyn and Iain) stood blocking the pavement outside Crystal Jade deliberating where to go and that's where I saw that Channel 8 actress...Yvonne something..haha.. Anyway, we went to the taxi stand and took two cabs to Cine..while in cab, saw Denise Keller walk by..^-^ Kai, Mels and Alex went home.

Arrived at Cine and went to play in arcade..met Gillian and Qi Hui, watched them dance for a while, watched Iain, Hugh and Sugi play air hockey and then me, Steph and Mich went competitive driving..pai seh larh..this senior is lousy at driving..haha..Steph and Mich won..haha..Steph and Mich went killing people soon after and then...we raced for a while more..I still sucked at it..and then we brisk walked to Plaza Singapura..where we got tickets for Star Wars Episode Three:Revenge of the Sith.It was going to start at 4, so went down to Yamaha where Hugh played with $5300 drumset and I went to check out the $1000 guitars...sighs...nice,nice guitars..oh..then we rushed up to buy food/ go to the toilet and then into the theatre..the loudness of the sound rattled me for a while, but then I adjusted after that.

The movie was fine..but they killed all the romantic scenes..sighs..so cliched and Natalie Portman looked bad in them. I came away from the movie with two things..how hate can transform you into a non-thinking person and how being possesive/obsessed even for whatever "right" reasons would not allow reason and judgement in. Much like being obssessed with something/anything/anyone would not allow the Holy Spirit to work in our lives. Then we left (freezing!!!) and I walked around a bit more- I now know where Swensens is and the toilets and the taxi stand..haha..

Came home for dinner..bathed, watched CSI, talked to Mels, did Laundry, locked up the house and finally-blogged...Yessie, Jon and Sugi called and my phone refused to conference yessie and Jon, so someone always got cut off..sighs..and then, I realised I have Bio at 9am tml...and am getting back my Bio test results...*trembling* Mum, Dad, Peter and Ju coming home tomorrow...Am listening to "Kiss of Heaven" Darlene Zchech's album and am thinking of logging off now..gdnite!!! ^_^

Inspired

Just came back from lunch at Sushi-Tei with my sis and Daphne. Am very happy that bio exam is over..now is the wait..sighs...many things happened this week.

2) Sam Gunawan came to stay with us- helped us reprogram. He said a lot of important things. Like how his two sons have Bachelor's in science at the age of 24 and 21 just by submitting their entire lives into God's hands.

4) Alex put our school on the podium by coming in second in the inter-school biathlon!!
5) Aiyo...just saw some stoopid videos that Sugi sent...aiyo..aiyo..aiyo..hahahahaha..."Be a man!!! " and " You want to eat?" summarises both..haha...Iain saw them-Kong Lam needs to see the first one man..aiyo...
6) Parent-teacher's conference: I was on duty with Sugi on Thursday night and went for mine on Friday night. Mels parents treated us to dinner at Crystal Jade. We saw Mr Yim on a motorcycle!!! haha..I was like "whoa!!! cool!!! " and Iain and Penny's mum..
7) Dodgeball-one word: TRAUMATIC..Brian (who was my in-charge and was supposed to be refereeing was hiding behind a table-need I say more?)
8) Chapel service this week rocked!!! The music and jumping "One way!!" and drums...hehe..and Girls' Brigade 3rd Coy..
9) Lix came back!!! I mean she's been back, but she went to school and etc..
10) The basketball court was all white due to flour games during the telematch..haha..
11) Got a cert for studies and efforts.
12)Camelot was playing...could not go to see...parents din allow.
13) Church camp-parents there now.
14) Went back to GMSS and saw Mr Chua-he's still the same..haha..
15) Picked up my guitar again and a song came to me in church..trying to solidfy it..ended up, my sis and I had the different parts to it.
16) Feeling relaxed...haven't felt this way in a long time.
17) Alternative dress day on thursday..spent Geog class watching videos and Lit doing presentations.
18) Chatting with Mels, Sugi and Kai is a very fun thing to do...especially after 12...lolx..
19) AAAHHH!!! been searching for THE nice christian song to put in the blog, can't find it in order to download/upload....sighs
20) Lix's birthday party coming up and 8 ppl's bdays are in july..haha..Mine too!!!

Grace under fire-rejoice!!!

The bible says that when we are under persecution, that we should rejoice, because then it is our period of growth!! So, I'm blogging this to tell myself that it is the right thing to do. If you don't stand up for something, you'll fall for everything and that's what a lot of the world is deceived into thinking-either that they are the superior race, the superior brain, the superior class or whatever. Anyway, the bible also says that the way to handle these people is "if they slap you on one cheek, offer them the other." and show forth the christian character that is so lacking in the world today. Oh, Sugi accpeted christ!!! Me, Mels, Penny and Kong Lam's prayers have come true!! Will update again soon when I get the chance too. God Bless.

Thankful

I'm grateful to the Lord for many things in my life. One of them is for ACS International. I'm grateful also for the group of ppl I have for classmates in ACS International...they've been a great blessing. I also thank the Lord for his favour upon my life. For blessing me with my heart's desires in everything I put my hand to.

There are soo many things to be thankful to God for, and one of them, as I've learnt is for nature...it brings about some sort of a renewal whenever you appreciate it.
