HI!!! I'm POSTING!! lol..finally right? I'm currently chatting with Mel, Drish, Jason, Kong Lam and SEAN!! lol... sighs... In between doing GEOG! well, firstly, battle of the bands rocked.. we should've placed 2nd. Had supper afterwards... OUR TABLE.

Well, a coupla stuff has been going on. Firstly, I went for Vic's party...lol..pictures below..

Had a really good time at her party and all...ate..Kane put me on a diet..lol. and watched really good performers... sat and chatted, took pics, danced, cut cake.. (I'll post more pics soon) went home with kenneth and sis.

Then, saturday...lol.. I woke up and crashed cousin's house with iain and mel...priceless expression on Iain's face. ^_^ and then...we crashed sugi's house to study..lol.. that was funny too. Then I had to go off to church, walked and took 143.. stopped at one stop too soon...and walked from fort canning to clarke quay..HAHAHA...good workout before church. Had a good message..came home..started studying. yep..tts it. Well tml will be the awards presentation thingy...going to bed now. God Bless ya'll...especially O, AS and A levellers... I'll be praying.

^_^ Hee... update: sweta gave me a pretty turquoise bangle. I really like it. Mel, Sarina, Iain and Nic gave me a really really beautiful box with paintings of roses on them. What they didn't know was that it was my heart's desire... and since the few times I saw it, I didn't have enough funds to get it, I told God that He can give it to me. lol... and he did- through you all. Thank You. Oh, and my bestie got me a magnet with my name on it when he went shopping at Funan. lol..Isaiah 30:15

Hee...spent time this week in reflection and affirmation again. Well, a couple of stuff are notable to highlight:

1. I miss those orientation camp '06 days when everyone was tight.

2. I found myself at peace with myself and not caring about what others think anymore.

3. New and close friendships, I'll take them for what they are-the past holds no bearing on it. You are my friend now, I don't care what you did in the past. Who am I to judge? Who are we to judge? lol.

4. It's fun living in God's will for your life. You get high more easily.

Hmmm...commentary on life now. Well, we had chapel today. (I refuse to comment..lol) IAIN-we're gonna do one week ah...lol... Had sooooooooo much fun these few days chatting with Kathi, Kristi, Feline, Jennifer, Sarina, Drishti, Mich, James, Jerilyn, Mel, DOLLY! (Hi new friend!) and jackie. K&K... you ppl gotta stop doubting my capabilties..lol.. AMRIT KIRPALANI-STOP CRUSHING ME...lol... DRISHTI: Hope you dun get a toothache k? Lol.. Mel: zero-rising expectations does wonders to your blood pressure.. Natkwee: I actually know that you love it there. Cherish your last few days and don't change or conform when you come back...i'll hate it if you do. Hugh: God has a plan for you. I know it's something big too. love loads twinny!

ohohoh! Yesterday I reconnected with the love for sports.. It's been such a long time...11 years to be exact...I've been avoiding ALL sports cause of a traumatic event when I was 7, but now..well, I sorta like it. ^_^ hee...darn singapore, don't have baseball as a major sport...no place to play... hahaha...

I'm beginning to find a new appreciation and love for life... It's interesting what surrender to God can do for you...it takes away your worries and your cares. Oh and everything that people do for you or with you now becomes a little bit sweeter, a little bit more exciting and fun. lol.. Anyway, this is what happened: Sarina asked me the night before to go to her place for a movie like zorro and lunch cause she "din get me a birthday gift...too broke" lol...oh shure...I'm never gonna believe the scheniving one anymore. haha.. anyway, I finally made it to Ridgewood condo (FINALLY! CHANGE OF LOCATION! no more ardmore!) and sarina and lydia were like.."oh, I need to drop by the pool to get stuff I left behind...where's jonathon (ting)?" oh sure...another nice tale... lol.. I actually thought it'd be a smaaaallll thing with mel, iain, sarina and sugi...but..no... it didn't turn out that way. lol... it turned out BIGGER. hahaha.. omg...I can't believe you guys did that.. I was really touched. I saw mel sitting at the table with a whole lot of plastic bags on the table...and I was like...a bbq? and she was like "OK!!!" and out jumped ACS INTERNATIONAL ppl from behind a bbq pit...I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU COULD ALL FIT BEHIND TT! lol...and they screamed "SURPRISE!" I was like..."whoa! omg!" and then mel said "That's not all..." and out jumped my GMSS friends! OMG!!!! lol...I wanted to cry right there. really...but can imagine what tan chi chuen would have said.. lol.. so I went to hug ppl for doing that instead. THANK YOU SO MUCH! I really do love you. Hi all!!! I'm back to being myself now. lol...just that I've been emo a lot lately..(stuff happened, missed NZ, cried a lot) so if you've been part of the group of people who came up to me and hugged me without expecting anything back, I'm really grateful to you. Your unconditional love has indeed helped me bounce back.

And then there are the messages that (irregardless of what happens) I'll treasure for life.. A friend sent this to me last year when I complained I looked horrible after crying. This friend said "for now, you'll look like wayang la...but later you'll be the original authentic esther that I know of." hmm...it makes me think tt I'm blessed to have ppl who can see the original, authentic me.. even if they don't tell me tt all the time.. and well...just cause I give my heart, doesn't mean I don't appreciate it when you give back to me. I need that love too. So thank you all. It's made a difference in my life.
