Absolutely loved the second movie. It held so much meaning for me. If you walk with "Aslan" you'll understand the statement "The Victory is ours, but the battle is the Lord's"

=) the funniest thing was to get inner healing out of it. I cried so much and had so much revelations.

Our Lord is awesome. =)

oh and then there are things known as fast and long term friends. I AM Family Convening 2008 was a blast. we made so many new friends there. liz, cam, david, hayden, joe, tina, nick, jessica and all the pastors!! lol. pauola, pastor marco and his wife. <3

just got into seattle last night. =))) flew via taipei (as usual) and spent time on the plane watching "waters" with oguri shun in it and "national treasure: book of secrets" LOL. loved both.. had applebees with james and jake. =)))

hahah.. never thought I'd take a leaf out of kong lam's book, but I did and washed my face on the plane (cleanser+toner, the works) it felt SOOOO MUCH BETTER than having itchy dry skin. =))

okok. so an update. I finished exams last week. have two grades out now. spent monday with my CT mates, tuesday with SSS Marketing and Wednesday with AP and LTB mates. then I flew off on thursday. LOL. loved this week.

had a lot of fun. dinners, lunches, crazy whacked ideas. =) and photos.. WHOEVER HAS THEM PLEASE POST!

going for two things on this trip:
a) scout out a camp site
b) attend a pastor's conference in florida. hee

today was a very successful time. =) I felt (and still do) feel very satisfied after today's distribution. I want to thank:

I know esther's a weird person... listening to chinese music and all, LOL... but it's part of her... and this MV makes her feel really happy. =)


hmm.. project: pass it on - day one of packing... 30 boxes were completed in half and hour. but now we have an excess of donations... LIKE A REAL EXCESS of donations. =)

so, anyway the Lord arranged for me to take a cab whose driver was dealing with the exact same area that our project was focused on. this allowed our team to further our plans and help smoothen our way. hmmm.. when the Lord overlooks a situation, he really does work to our advantage! =)

I wonder how life is like without Him.

anyway, just decided to blog again while waiting for my files to load. I just thought of this:

life is like... a box of packed foodstuffs...
the person packing it will never be able to see what good it's going to do...
the person receiving it will never be able to see what the person packing it went through...
but both persons will feel a sense of accomplishment and of being loved. =)

=) daddy spoke at the bilingual service yesterday. ely, shawn, sara, nadia and ely's momma and daddy were there too. I think it was a lot of fun to be back there with friends. hee. then we had lunch at ghim moh market before heading off to vivocity for a while.

I think some of the most wonderful things have happened in the months since school started. I made some of the most awesome (christian) friends on campus... cindy and ryan!!! =) and michelle leong!!! haha. and this is all the Lord's doing I tell you.

also, my LTB group is a bunch of very lovely people whom I really enjoy spending time with. =) *happie happie*

PENNY LEE WEN YI!!! I MISS YOU A LOT!

recently, the Lord has begun to deal with me in the area of self control. I remember in 2006 He taught me faith, in 2007 He taught me love. I think His personal lesson for me this year is self control. Self control in how my time is spent, what I've been eating (haha) who I've been hanging with, what I've been watching, what I've been listening to... all these are very important things that every christian today needs to learn.

Daddy once said that to be a failure is selfish. cause:
a) it doesn't show God's glory
b) my failure will affect someone else
c) my success will allow me to reach out to someone else
this is the reason why I need to reset my priorities.

recently, I got touched by a blog entry that someone showed me. It talked about valentine's day and how the person realised that they are not at the maturity level that the Lord wants them to be at yet. The person typed out exactly what I was experiencing and I found myself sitting in a corner with goosebumps and staring up in wonder at God. Not only that, there were many things about that blog that edified people. I realised in recent times, my blog has failed to do that. "Focus on self makes one lack self control". LOL.

a testimony will emerge soon enough about the lessons that the Lord teaches me this year!!! you wait and see! but besides that, being thankful is a good way to start each day. =) love and blessings!!
